The national council of elders appears to agree with Generation Z over the recent demonstrations. Kungu Muigai, the chairwoman who also happens to be Uhuru Kenyatta's cousin, has issued a message to President Ruto about alleged high-level corruption in his ministry.

The move comes days after Generation Zs took to the streets to show their unhappiness with the current leadership, which they believe is not working for the betterment of ordinary Mwananchi. The primary themes mentioned by the teenagers include the finance law 2024, high-level corruption, tribalism, and the opulence of some politicians.

Kenyans have reacted after the council of elders Chairperson issued the messwg to President Ruto's government. Here are some of the reactions:

"Young people should held this Elders accountable for not raising their voice before demonstration 😔" Sultan Would said

"This are the same people who told us uhuru was not a leader what happened on the way what happened to man of God ruto." Victor Amimo said

"True sycophant of our times......hope your dancers are listening to your tune!" Samlex Waihenya said.

"Ruto doesn't like elders' advice." Kip Kip said
