On Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., youths are expected to swarm Uhuru Park for a major festival, with Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja offering to provide security.
As per the details disclosed by activist Boniface Mwangi, the young people will gather at Uhuru Gardens as a memorial to the youths who lost their lives during the protests.
Sakaja has promised to use the county Askaris to provide security. The youths are instructed to bring flowers to the celebration by Boniface Mwangi. There will be a 9am gate opening.
Sunday, July 7, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m., is the ShuGenz Memorial concert, which honors our heroes who lost their lives during the protests.
