Following the opening of the 2024 summer transfer window, many clubs in the English Premier League have begun to buy and sell players. However, only 3 of these elite outfits have made incomes that are greater than €50m so far as per Transfermarkt. Let us take a look at these top sellers.

The club on top of the list is Newcastle. The Magpies have generated a sum of €80m in transfer fees so far in the current transfer window. This amount was realised from the movement of Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh to Nottingham Forest and Brighton respectively. The Tricky Trees paid €41.2m while a fee of €38.8m was received from the Seagulls.

Chelsea are next with an income of €77m within the same period. The most expensive sale of the Blues so far is Ian Maatsen. This 22-year-old defender was sold to Aston Villa for €44.5m. It is worthy of note that Maatsen is one of the two that have moved away from the London club this summer. The second is Lewis Hall that was acquired by Newcastle for €32.5m.

Douglas Luiz

The third EPL outfit in this category is Aston Villa with an income of €64.7m. Unliike the two clubs above, this sum was raised from the sales of three players - Douglas Luiz, Tim Iroegbunam and Morgan Sanson. Coincidentally, these 3 guys are all central midfielders. Meanwhile, Luiz (who cost Juventus €50m) is the most expensive player to move away from an English club so far this summer. Tim is next with €10.7m while Morgan's transfer is worth €4m
