Chippa United of South Africa has set a considerable price of R30 million (N2.245B) for Stanley Nwabali, the first-choice goalkeeper of the Super Eagles.

According to a report by SportsNow, Nwabali gained positive attention due to his exceptional performance at the Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire earlier this year.

He narrowly missed out on the Golden Gloves award despite keeping four clean sheets.

His standout display at AFCON has notably increased his market worth.

This has prompted potential suitors to be prepared for a significant financial outlay if they intend to meet this new valuation.

Noteworthy interest in Nwabali comes from various sources, including within South Africa and from clubs in England (Queens Park Rangers), Saudi Arabia (Al-Ettifaq managed by Steven Gerrard), and Belgium (Royal Union Saint-Gilloise).

Chippa United owner Siviwe Mpengesi has publicly addressed the current negotiations, especially with international clubs, concerning their goalkeeper.

Mpengesi has also previously affirmed the club's readiness to entertain proposals from Premier Soccer League teams, mentioning that they would not impede Nwabali's transfer if the offers were sufficiently appealing.
