Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking to raise funds for the club's summer transfer business, and has sanctioned the sale of his 21-year-old star.

Arsenal are in the market for a new striker, midfielder and defender. Already they have agreed personal terms with their defensive target Riccardo Calafiori and are very much close to sealing a deal for the 22-year-old Italian defender.

While Calafiori is a welcomed addition, the Gunners are in need of funds to bring in a new striker and a midfielder. They have been linked with an £85m move for Sporting CP centre-forward Gyokeres and Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, but a deal for these stars needs money to facilitate them, something the Gunners are working to raise from player sales.

According to the Evening Standard, Arteta has approved Mika Biereth to leave Arsenal permanently this summer, with Sturm Graz looking to seal a £4m move for the 21-year-old.

The deal when finalized, would see Biereth become the Austrian club's most expensive player in history.

The report has also claimed that the star is expected to finish his personal terms and undergo his medicals in the coming hours, making him the latest academy product to depart the Gunners this summer.
