Chelsea are poised to make a huge move this weekend as they review documents for a prospective new signing, according to Chelsea Chronicle.

The club started the summer transfer window strongly by securing central defender Tosin Adarabioyo, 26, on a free transfer. However, subsequent transfer activity has been relatively quiet.

For several weeks, reports have linked Palmeiras' teenage sensation Estevao Willian with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Estevao, a 17-year-old forward, has drawn significant attention and is considered one of South America's most promising young talents.

Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday night via X that Chelsea representatives are set to meet with Palmeiras officials this weekend to finalize Estevao's transfer.

The young Brazilian has reportedly already completed his medical examination. If the deal proceeds as planned, Estevao will join Chelsea's ranks in 2025.

The financial details of the proposed transfer suggest that Chelsea could pay Palmeiras up to €65 million (£55 million) if all performance-related add-ons are achieved.

Estevao's move to Chelsea has been a topic of speculation for several weeks. On June 11, journalist Eduardo Burgos announced via X that the deal was "practically done".
