According to the news on ABC, In response to calls within the Democratic Party for President Joe Biden to reconsider his nomination following a challenging debate performance, his campaign has unveiled a strategic plan for July. This includes a rigorous travel schedule for Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff across key battleground states. The campaign will also launch a $50 million paid media blitz focused on online, television, and radio platforms, strategically timed during high-profile events like the Olympics and the Republican National Convention. Ads will emphasize critical issues such as abortion rights, the economy, and the perceived threats to democracy posed by former President Donald Trump.

Acknowledging Biden's need to address concerns about his fitness and engage more spontaneously, the campaign anticipates more unscripted moments. Despite recent polling setbacks, Biden remains focused on demonstrating his capability and leadership. The campaign also plans a substantial canvassing effort, investing $17 million to reach over 3 million doors in July and August.
