On 4th July, 2924 a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke during an interview with the Daily Post while reacting to the current economic challenges facing the country, revealed that some of the faithful members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and good citizens of the country were only pretending that all was well, but were only waiting to vote out the President of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 Presidential Election.
According to the Daily Post, a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke said "The majority of the citizens cannot afford this with their meager earnings/salaries. Some of the APC faithful and citizens are only pretending that all is well but are only waiting to vote out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his renewed hope mantra. Whether you like it or not, APC will be extinct before 2027 because the hunger in Nigeria is serious. Many citizens who cannot cope are already committing suicide. They no longer believe in the renewed hope of Mr. President because they believe their hopes have been dashed. Some of them including APC members are only waiting to vote President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his renewed hope out of office.”
Chief Sunny Onuesoke added that the good citizens of Nigeria including some of the members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) could no longer eat good meals and talk less of three square meals because the basket of garri was four thousand naira, the basket of beans was eight thousand three hundred naira, basket of rice was now twelve thousand naira.
