In recent months, there has been a lot of speculation about Real Madrid players potentially leaving the club. For some, it's understandable given their lack of playing time and uncertain future under Carlo Ancelotti. However, for others, the situation is more complex.

For instance, when Thibaut Courtois, widely regarded as one of the top goalkeepers globally, was injured before the season began, Real Madrid had to find a replacement. Instead of entrusting Andriy Lunin, the club opted to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea.

However, a brief injury setback to Kepa opened the door for Lunin to showcase his talents with a series of matches. Since then, he has demonstrated his capability to be Real Madrid's primary goalkeeper.

While Kepa's return to Chelsea in the summer appears highly likely, the question arises: what lies ahead for Lunin? Previously, his departure seemed imminent, but the situation may have evolved. Nonetheless, he faces a decision, as once Courtois is fit again, he is expected to reclaim his starting position.

Offers have been made by Manchester United and PSG for a Real Madrid player. If Lunin opts to depart, he'll have no shortage of top-tier choices for his next club. Manchester United, PSG, and Bayern Munich have reportedly extended proposals. According to Fichajes, journalist Eduardo Inda stated on El Chiringuito de Jugones:

"There's a player whose contract expires next year, and Madrid ideally wants him to stay, but he's considering leaving this year or next as a free agent if he's not a regular starter. He's received three offers: one from PSG, although there's competition with Donnarumma, another from Manchester United, and a third from Bayern Munich. I'm referring to Lunin. He's a talented goalkeeper, and he's proving it."

Lunin is undoubtedly facing a challenging choice. While he's now a regular part of the Real Madrid squad after spending years as a substitute, would he be willing to relinquish that position to start anew elsewhere?

However, there's no assurance that he'll retain his spot once Courtois returns. In fact, it's improbable. Nonetheless, Lunin has the chance to capitalize on his current good form and potentially join another elite team where he can immediately claim the starting goalkeeper role.
