Famous Radio Presenter Left With Bruises After Allegedly Being Attacked By Goons During Gen Z Demos

opera.com 3 days ago

On Tuesday, the 2nd of July, the anti-government demonstrations entered their third week.

Like many times before, the Gen Zs also this time took to the streets of many major towns in the country to air their grievances to the government.

This is because they still feel like most of their issues have not yet been addressed by President William Ruto, despite him having withdrawn the Finance Bill of 2024 that had caused an uproar among many Kenyans.

They still have important issues that they want the government to address like how the government has been spending money unnecessarily, they want the IEBC to be reconstituted and also the high rate of unemployment among the youths to be addressed among others.

Therefore among the cities where protests were widely witnessed included Mombasa, Nakuru, Nairobi, Kisii, Migori and also Machakos.

One of the people who today joined the protestors in Nairobi was renowned Swahili radio presenter Massawe Japanni.

Things however unfortunately did not go as planned for her, as she ended up being bruised by the goons who had today hijacked the Nairobi demonstrations and wreaked havoc on people's businesses.

The ravishing Radio Jambo presenter disclosed the unfortunate news in a post that she made on her Instagram stories, where she shared photos of her bruised arm and legs.

Thankfully however, the injuries were not that serious as shown in the screenshots below.

Even though the talented radio presenter never gave more information about how everything happened and where it happened, we wish her a quick recovery.

Meanwhile kindly share your thoughts about this on the comment section.
