The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has directed the contractor of the Gwali Road to complete the project within one year, expressing his surprise at the initial 18-month timeline set for such a critical project.

Wike questioned the rationale behind allocating 18 months for the road's completion, stating that it was too long. He assured that if financial constraints were causing delays, the necessary funds would be promptly provided. He urged the contractors to expedite their efforts, emphasizing the road's vital importance to the community.

During a live coverage by Channels TV, Wike pointed out that he doesn't understand why they told the contractor to take 18 months for this project. He emphasized that if it's about payments, they are ready to accommodate that. He stressed the urgency, stating that completing the road within one year is imperative as he has witnessed firsthand its critical importance to the community.
