Tinubu has given Ndigbo more than the vote cast for him during the elections–Benjamin Kalu

According to the report from the Vanguard, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu praised President Bola Tinubu for providing the Igbo people with significant support, surpassing the votes he received during the elections. He encouraged the Igbo community to show appreciation for the President's actions, emphasizing that gratitude can lead to further benefits.

He also highlighted the progress made on the Southeast Development Commission Bill, which aims to address challenges faced by the Igbo people. He mentioned that the bill is in its final stages and is currently awaiting President Tinubu's assent, suggesting that it may soon become a reality and contribute to the development of the region.

He said, "President Bola Tinubu has given Ndigbo more than the vote cast for him during the elections. It is presently left for us to repay him for his good works because when ones shows appreciation, he gets more. The process for the south east development commission bill which would solve the numerous challenges confronting Igbos, has been finalised and awaiting the president’s accent."
