In a heartfelt address, Prophet Joshua Iginla, the founder and senior pastor of Champions Royal Assembly has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to implement measures to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians.

Emphasizing the need for immediate action, Iginla stressed that the administration's long-term plans must be complemented by short-term strategies to address the pressing economic hardships faced by the populace.

"His Excellency, the President of this great country, should not forget his promises for Nigeria," Iginla stated. "While planning long-term goals, also plan short-term measures to alleviate the suffering of the people. The long-term plan for the next eight years is beautiful, but please strategize within these four years to achieve what you can."

Iginla clarified his role as a prophet, asserting that he was neither a yes-man nor a praiser, but rather a messenger conveying the mind of God. He highlighted the rising prices of commodities and the growing discontent among citizens. "The prices of commodities are high, and people are complaining. Whatever the government can do to ease the suffering of the people will not be wasted."

The prophet's message underscored the urgency of the situation, framing it as a "prophetic emergency." He warned against the perils of overconfidence, urging the government to act with a clear conscience. "Please understand, I am not a prophet of doom. I know what I am seeing and hearing. You can undermine me as a messenger, but take this message seriously."

Expressing faith in President Tinubu's leadership, Iginla appealed for policies focused on the poor. "I know my president is a listening president. Believe me or not, the government must do all it can. Let your policies focus on the poor. The infrastructures are commendable, but don't forget that a hungry population is an angry population."

Also, Iginla cautioned against seeking re-election with unpopular policies, reminding the administration that addressing the immediate needs of the people is crucial for long-term success.
