The police in FCT recently paraded some suspects arrested for their involvement in the robbery and killing of Brigadier General Uwem Harold Udokwere (Retd) in Abuja. The robbery took place on June 22, 2024, at Sunshine Homes Estate, where Udokwere lived.
However in a video shared by TVC on YouTube, one of the suspects, during interrogation, confessed that he stabbed General Udokwere when he (Udokwere) tried to resist them during the operation on June, 22 2024. He said when they broke into Udokwere's house, they found him holding a gun. He said as Udokwere tried to load the magazine, he quickly attacked and stabbed him.
In the suspect's words: "We met the General with his gun but he had not fixed the magazine, I rushed and stabbed him, that made him to release the gun. He was struggling to fix the magazine"
