Kisii senator Richard Onyonka has made allegations about the working relationship between President William Ruto and deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
For sometime now the two have claimed to have been reading from different scripts on various issues concerning the country.
On some instances, the deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is ok record for lamenting that some leaders in the Kenya Kwanza administration have been wanting him to take orders from them.

The two have also differed on various issues including the one man one shilling one vote that the deputy President had been championing but the president and his allies opposed it.
Kisii senator Richard Onyonka has casted some aspersions concerning the relationship between the two.
Taking to his X handle, senator Onyonka claimed that the disagreements between President Ruto and his deputy are not about policy. He alleged that they are about fighting for the loot.
The allegations by the Kisii senator remains as such since they have not been verified by other sources.
Senator Onyonka also did not share evidence of his statements and the allegations remain his own opinion.

Onyonka added that he was committed to continue raising awareness about corruption though the journey won't be easy.
"The disagreements between Gachagua and President Ruto are not about policy, they are fighting over the loot. I will continue giving a breakdown on how we have systematically and deliberately broken down the guard rails against corruption, it shall not be easy though. So help God," the Senator claimed.
