Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement to bring Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu (24) to the club this summer, according to reports from Turkey.

Kadioglu joined the Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce in 2018, initially featuring mainly for the U-21 team. However, he made his senior debut in December 2018, but it wasn't until the 2020–21 season, under Head Coach Erol Bulut, that he began to establish himself in the first team. He scored his first goal that same year.

The Turkish international's signing by Arsenal is seen as providing depth behind Ben White, who has impressed since joining from Brighton, and potentially as a replacement for Aleksandar Zinchenko, who is rumored to be leaving the club after a disappointing campaign.

In an interview, Kadioglu's father, Feyzullah Kadioglu, revealed that there is an agreement over personal terms between his son and Arsenal.

However, according to Football London, a transfer agreement must be reached between the clubs before the deal can be finalized, making Ferdi Kadioglu an Arsenal player.

Standing at 1.74 meters tall, Kadioglu primarily plays as a right-back but is versatile enough to cover left-back and midfield positions. He has a market value of £20 million, with previous reports suggesting Arsenal would need to pay £26 million for his signature.

It appears that addressing the left-back position is a priority for Arteta, but the manager is also looking to strengthen the midfield, with Martin Zubimendi and Bruno Guimaraes among the top targets.
