The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, has got numerous netizens reacting on social media after sharing what he was taught in his master class about corruption and cybercrime.
Taking to his X handle, Bright Edafe noted in a tweet that according to his lecturer, corruption is a better crime than internet fraud. He made this known while asking Nigerians to share their view on the lecturer's comment.
His tweet reads; “During one of my masters class, the lecturer said identity theft(cyber crime A.K.A. yahoo) is worse than corruption. What do you think?”
As expected, the tweet was followed by over a thousand reactions as netizens shared different views on it.
Reacting, an X user, Humanity First wrote; “The Lecturer didn’t get it right. Cyber Crime is just one aspect of Corruption. What he wanted to compare is Cyber Crime and Public Funds Embezzlement carried out by Politicians and People in Public/Private institutions. If you want to look at it, Cybercrime effects is merely a Tip of the Iceberg compared to the Latter.”
