According to Sahara reporters, Bishop Edoro, a Lagos cleric and security expert, shared his ideas on how to tackle terrorism and suicide bombings in Nigeria. He said, "Individuals and communities found to be supporting terrorist activities must be identified and brought to justice."

Edoro urged the government to seek international help in counter-terrorism efforts. He explained, "Security forces need to prioritize intelligence gathering using modern tools and strategic alliances. This will be crucial in recovering lost territories and disrupting terrorist operations."

The bishop also emphasized the importance of negotiation and addressing the grievances of terror groups. He stated, "Seeking to understand and address the grievances of these groups could be an effective way to prevent not only suicide bombings but also broader acts of terrorism." Edoro added that the government should increase spending on counterterrorism and run awareness campaigns to discourage youth from joining terrorist organizations.

Lastly, Edoro advised President Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu, the jailed leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB). He said the president should use his powers to facilitate Kanu's release.
