What Will Happen To You When You Neglect The Scripture-Pastor Benny Hinn Reveals

opera.com 2 days ago

In a recent video on Facebook, Pastor Benny Hinn emphasized the importance of adhering to Scripture as a safeguard against recurring temptations. Citing Psalm 119:101, which states, "I have refrained my feet from every evil way so that I might keep your word," Hinn warned that neglecting the Bible could lead to a resurgence of past temptations with even greater intensity.

He explained that the discipline of regularly engaging with Scripture is essential for spiritual fortification. He illustrated his point by recounting stories from his ministry where individuals who had drifted away from biblical teachings found themselves succumbing to old habits and vices. He urged his congregation to make Bible study a daily practice. He argued that immersion in Scripture provides the moral and spiritual guidance necessary to navigate life’s challenges.

According to him, "When you neglect the scriptures, the temptations of the past will come back with force. Psalm 119:101 says "I have refrained my feet from Every evil way. So that I might keep the word." On this note, only by keeping God's word in you that you will be able to refrain or restrain your feet from Every evil way."
