Chelsea are seeing one of their top stars draw transfer speculation away from Stanford Bridge as we approach the end of the season and the start of the summer transfer window.

We are all bracing ourselves for what is expected to be an overwhelming summer transfer window once it arrives in the beginning of July. The competitiveness of the English Premier League has made it a certainty that clubs will always want to improve their squad every summer.

This has seen the amount of money spent on transfer deals by English clubs increase every summer by a significant amount and that is one of the reasons we enjoy the speculations and the season.

While Chelsea has been the one splashing the cash, flexing their muscles and most likely taking other clubs important players at will, they could see one of their top stars move at the end of the season. The Blues spent huge money on Moses Caicedo, Madueke, Jackson and many others. These players were regulars at their former clubs before they were taken away and the Blues could have a taste of their own medicine when Tottenham Hotspur test their own resolve for Conor Gallagher.

According to a report released by Telegraph this morning, Premier League side Tottenham have made Chelsea and England midfielder Conor Gallagher a summer transfer target and would do their very best to secure the signature of the 24-year-old midfielder who has been explosive for the Blues this season.

The star since returning from his loan spell at Crystal Palace where he played a fundamental role under head coach Patrick Vieira, has hardly put a foot wrong under Mauricio Pochettino even when Chelsea are outplayed or outscored. He has been good defensively and offensively.

However, while Chelsea has been his club, there are rumors the midfielder will be considering an exit should the right offer come. Though he is one of the captains of this young Chelsea side, it is believed that he doesn't see the club fit enough to lift a silverware in the near future an might seek success elsewhere.

WHAT COULD HAPPEN.

In football anything can happen and so we must keep our fingers crossed as we watch this interesting transfer saga and speculations unfold fully to a clear truth.
