Siaya Businessman, 60, Stabs Wife To Death, Injures Son In a Row Over Ksh 30; Angry Mob Lynches Him

In Siaya County, a 60-year-old man fatally stabbed his wife and injured his 24-year-old son during a heated argument over a mere 30 Kenyan shillings.

This development comes barely days after police launched investigations after angry villagers lynched a man who stabbed his mother to death over Ksh500 in Kemera location, Nyamira County.

The dispute escalated to violence within their home, resulting in the wife's untimely death and serious injuries to their son.

According to the police, the suspect fatally stabbed his wife when she refused to give him money she came back with a change from shop.

Following the brutal attack, an enraged mob reportedly took justice into their own hands, lynching the suspect before law enforcement could intervene.

The suspect had also attacked his son during the incident before he escaped, leaving her with serious injuries.

The local police have since confirmed the incident and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing.

Villagers caught him and beat him to death, then burnt his body. Their bodied was taken to the Sub-County Teaching and Referral Hospital while the son was rushed to the nearby hospital gor emergency treatment.
