In a recent Post on Facebook, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, a prominent figure in Christian drama ministry, recently addressed an issue plaguing many ministry leaders and pastors: the fear that close associates and members might leave for other churches or leaders. In his sharp critique, Bamiloye questioned the root of this insecurity, emphasizing the need for confidence in one’s divine calling and vision.

He posed these provocative questions, urging leaders to reflect on the foundation of their ministries. His comments highlight a growing concern in some Christian circles where leaders exhibit a possessive attitude, guarding their congregations to prevent them from joining other ministries.

According to him, "As a Ministry Leader or Senior Pastor, why are you so scared and shaky that your close associates may leave you for another church or another Leader? Is your Calling and Vision hanged on a human being? And as a Ministry Leader or Pastor, why are you always possessive and guarding the door of your church to prevent members from running away to another Church? It shows you are not Bold and Courageous in your ministerial Calling."
