Truck Carrying Cattle and Goods Overturns on Kano Flyover

A truck carrying a cargo of 28 cows, sheep, onions, and dates was involved in an accident on the flyover at Hotoro, Kano. According to eyewitnesses, the truck had departed from Wudil and was headed to Enugu when the incident occurred.

Truck passenger Hashim Rabiu Tamburawa claimed that the truck's suspected brake failure was the reason it somersaulted.

Emergency responders raced to the scene to offer assistance, including police officers, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) representatives, and state fire service employees.

Following the accident, a number of people were injured and taken to Yan Kaba's Sir Sanusi Hospital for medical attention. Thankfully, no deaths have been reported as of yet. Traffic in the area was severely disrupted by the incident, but things were somewhat resolved thanks to emergency services' quick response.

To ascertain the precise circumstances surrounding the incident, an investigation into the accident's cause is probably going to be carried out. Livestock and food items were among the cargo of the truck that sustained damage in the collision.
