The Edo state Labour Party governorship candidate, Olumide Akpata has reacted after he worshipped at a church in Iguobazuwa, Ovia South West LGA of Edo state on Sunday.

Olumide Akpata stated on his verified Facebook page; "Yesterday's journey on the campaign trail epitomised our commitment to connect with the people. We began in worship at Christ Solution Bible Church, Iguobazuwa, Ovia South West LGA, drawing strength from shared faith."

He added; "We then made the nostalgic journey to Usen, Ovia South West LGA, my ancestral hometown, where we paid homage to the traditional head there, honouring our rich heritage. We later made our way into the warm embrace of my family members, the Ogbebor N'Usen family, which reminded us of the stakes in our mission for a better Edo State."

He stated further; "Engaging with students of the Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, reaffirmed our dedication to nurturing future leaders. Our day concluded with an interaction with the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Edo State Chapter, in Benin City, where we discussed crucial healthcare policies."

He noted; "These diverse interactions - from spiritual gatherings to academic halls, from ancestral grounds to healthcare frontlines - reflect Edo State's rich tapestry. Each voice heard shapes our vision for a state that honours its past while boldly advancing."
