In a statement posted on his official X account, Nigerian businessman, medical practitioner, and activist Mahdi Shehu has responded to the recent circulation of a list of allegedly corrupt former governors on social media.

Notably absent from this list are any former governors from Lagos state, prompting Shehu to question the motives behind such omissions.

The statement, titled 'EFCC AND ITS 4 (FOUR) SAINTS,' highlights the resurgence of a list of 'corrupt' governors across various social media platforms.

Shehu suggests that with this list now public, there should be an apology from Rubadu to Tinubu for what he perceives as a malicious pursuit of investigations against him.

Furthermore, Shehu proposes that when the Pope grants sainthood to outstanding individuals, the four 'saints' should be considered.

He also recommends that the Saudi Delicate Crown Prince award Bola, Babatunde, and Ambode the prestigious King Faisal Award for 'Service to Islam and Honesty.'

In addition to questioning the motives behind the omission of Lagos state governors from the list, Shehu calls attention to what he perceives as unfair treatment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Specifically referencing former Lagos state governor Bola Tinubu, Shehu suggests that investigations into his affairs were conducted out of malice rather than genuine concern for justice.
