Former Nairobi County Governor Hon Mike Sonko has revealed that government officials close to President William Ruto have grown worried and are now pretending to be good people.
According to the former governor, Ruto's men have begun to pick up phone calls, which they have not done since they believe they are powerful and above everyone else. He said that Farouk Kibet and other cabinet secretaries are doing the same thing.
"Tumbo joto kwa government officials." I saw people like Kina Faruk, some of ma Cs, and na ma Ps picking up calls. "Even those who never did!" Sonko said.
This occurs after President Ruto admonished some of his colleagues during a meeting with the youth of X. Ruto stated that he was unhappy with the behaviour of some of his allies and planned to speak with them. It seemed that his statements piqued their interest. Kenyans have been on their necks for weeks, and they are concerned about losing their elective seats in 2027.
