On 6th July, 2024 the Acting National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Damagum while speaking at a dinner organized to celebrate the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir Award of Excellence on Urban Renewal by the Nigeria Excellence Award in Public Service (NEAPS) at Tatari Ali House in Abuja, revealed that he was very proud to say anywhere he goes as a leader of the party because the good citizens of the country had never had it best like when they were in charge of the country as the ruling party.
According to Daily Trust, the Acting National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Damagum said "Today, it is another milestone for us in the PDP family. I am very proud to say anywhere I go as a leader of this party. Nigeria has never had it best like when we were in charge. And this another milestone, despite this government, is not a PDP government, it finds him worthy to recognize one of us and the others, which means we have not relented, we’ve always given the best services wherever we are. To the people of Bauchi, today I will say congratulations."
It was learned that the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, Acting National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Iliya Damagun, Nigerian Senator representing Bauchi State Central Senatorial District, Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, Bauchi State Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam, Secretary to the Bauchi State Government Barrister Ibrahim Kashim, and other prominent people attended the dinner organized to celebrate the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir Award of Excellence on Urban Renewal by the Nigeria Excellence Award in Public Service (NEAPS) at Tatari Ali House in Abuja.
