Manchester United loanee Mason Greenwood delivered a stellar performance as he played the full 90 minutes in Getafe's impressive 3-1 triumph against La Liga's struggling side, Almeria, earlier today, according to People's Person.

Getafe, eyeing a potential spot in the Europa Conference League for the upcoming season, made the most of the opportunity against a relegation-bound Almeria squad.

Greenwood, operating in his familiar role on the right side of a front three, showed his quality once again as he contributed to Getafe's attacking prowess.

The match kicked off with Getafe showing early dominance, and Greenwood wasted no time in making his mark.

Getafe capitalized on Almeria's defensive fragility as Iliax Moriba dispossessed an Almeria player, before setting up a clear chance for Greenwood.

With composure, Greenwood calmly slotted the ball home from close range just before the half-hour mark.

Almeria, however, responded before halftime, equalising through Anthony Lozano, ensuring a level scoreline at the break. The second half saw Greenwood's impress yet again as Getafe went ahead.

A swift counter-attack saw Greenwood involved in the buildup, eventually capitalizing on a rebound to notch his second goal of the match and restore Getafe's lead.

Getafe's dominance continued, with Jamie Mata extending their lead further, effectively sealing the fate of the game by the 60th minute.
