According to the report from the Vanguard, A prominent member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State, Hon. Abubakar Sadiqu Abdullahi, has expressed confidence that the PDP will regain its position both in Nigeria and Nasarawa State by 2027.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Sun, Abdullahi, also known as Ambassador Abdulsadiq, articulated that the PDP's vision is propelled by its "strong legacy, robust policies, and commitment to the people."
He said, "PDP has played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s political landscape since its inception, Our tenure has been marked by significant achievements in economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare."
He further emphasized the PDP’s legacy, highlighting its pioneering reforms and policies that have established the foundation for Nigeria’s modern democracy.
Abdullahi reiterated the PDP’s commitment to democratic principles and governance, specifically "championing free and fair elections, transparency, and accountability."
Looking ahead to 2027, Abdullahi outlined the PDP's strategic vision, which includes "economic revitalization, infrastructure development, prioritization of education and health, strengthening security, and promoting good governance."
He underscored the significance of Nasarawa State as a focal point for the PDP, with strategic plans to harness the state's potential for growth and development.
Abdullahi also stressed the importance of grassroots mobilization and inclusivity, advocating for engagement with citizens at every level to ensure that "every voice is heard."
He concluded, "PDP’s journey towards reclaiming its position in Nigeria and Nasarawa State by 2027 is rooted in a deep commitment to the country’s progress and the well-being of its citizens."
