She jokingly suggested that the cheers were due to people hoping for financial assistance in tough times, but Ned playfully disagreed, suggesting they were greeting her instead.
Amusingly, he even approached the fans to confirm his theory, adding a lighthearted touch to the moment.
Upon noticing the fans' greetings, Ned Nwoko paused alongside his wife, Regina Daniels. With a playful demeanor, he engaged the fans, echoing his wife's earlier comment about the reason behind their enthusiastic welcome.
He humorously suggested that the fans were standing to greet Regina, despite her insistence to the contrary.
In response, Regina Daniels also joined in the banter, directly questioning the fans about the reason for their greetings.
She sought clarification from the fans, teasingly asking whether they were standing to greet her or her husband.
Regina Daniels captioned the video saying; "Guys my husband is really funny. So on our way out, some people were hailing us and I told him they are hailing because they want him to drop something as the country is hard and he said no it's because they want to greet me.
I can't believe he went ahead to ask them. But at the end Odogwu had to be Odogwu".
When Ned Nwoko noticed that some people were hailing him, he and his wife stopped. senator Ned asked the people hailing them saying;
"madam said that I know why you are standing. For me, you are standing because you want to greet her but she say no. That you're standing because you want to".
After Ned finished speaking, Regina also asked those people saying; "is it true that you're standing because you want to greet me or you want to greet him ?".
Reginal Daniels' fans asserted that they are standing because they want to greet both she and her husband.
