Prophet Jeremiah Condemns Pastors for Silence During Pastor Chris' Church Fire Incident

opera.com 2 days ago

In a recent video on his official Facebook page, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), voiced his disappointment with pastors who remained silent during the fire incident at Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's church.

Speaking on the theme "God Has a Plan for You When All Hope Seems Lost," Fufeyin condemned the lack of support from fellow pastors during this challenging time.

"An attack on a pastor is an attack on all pastors," Fufeyin declared, emphasizing the need for solidarity within the Christian community.

He lamented that when Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's church caught fire, many pastors did not publicly express their condolences or support. Instead, social media was filled with noise and criticism from unbelievers questioning the existence of God in light of the fire incident.

"Pastors did not come out to say sorry, but they were making noise in the social media space," Fufeyin said. "They allowed the unbelievers to speak against the body of Christ, asking, 'Is there any God? Does God exist?' because of the fire incident."

Drawing on biblical references, Fufeyin highlighted the commitment of Solomon to build a house of gold for God, underscoring the importance of dedicating beautiful structures to worship. "If men of God can live in beautiful houses, why can't you build one for God?" he asked.

Fufeyin urged pastors to defend the body of Christ and stand in unity during times of crisis. "Instead of pastors coming out to defend the body of Christ, they were quiet. Any pastor hearing me, that church you have built for many years, God can take it away anytime and give you the best. He can instruct you to build the best for Him."
