The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their military operations in Gaza, targeting terrorist operatives and infrastructure in Shejaiya, Rafah, and central Gaza. The actions over the past day have resulted in destruction of terrorist resources and the elimination of numerous militants.
In Rafah, IDF troops identified and ambushed an armed terrorist squad advancing in a vehicle. The troops engaged and eliminated the terrorists. Concurrently, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) conducted multiple strikes, dismantling several terrorist infrastructure sites in the area.
Operations in Shejaiya saw IDF troops and IAF aircraft working together to conduct strikes, resulting in the elimination of terrorists and the dismantling of dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites. These included tunnel shafts, weapons storage facilities, and a structure from which an anti-tank missile had been fired at IDF troops.
Targeted raids in Shejaiya also led to the discovery of large amounts of weapons, including AK-47 rifles, military vests, and additional military equipment.
In the central Gaza Strip, IDF troops eliminated terrorists in close-quarters combat during targeted raids. They also located and confiscated significant amounts of weapons and military equipment.
Over the past day, the IAF struck approximately 30 terror targets, which included weapons storage facilities, terrorist infrastructure sites, and Hamas military structures. These comprehensive operations underline the IDF’s ongoing efforts to counter terrorist threats and dismantle their operational capabilities in Gaza.
