The former Governor of Ekiti State and a founding member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has, during an interview on Politics Today, a Channels Television Programme, said even though the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is working tirelessly to fix the economic challenges in the country, Nigerians can still make their decision if they are no longer happy with the ruling party.
Dr. Kayode Fayemi had said, "You can also see that the government recognizes that, and they're trying to address that to the best of their ability. But the reality must also be confronted that the Nigerian people in a democracy have the last word; if they are not happy with our political party, then they have to take the decision on that front. But I believe that things would begin to improve, the government has only been in Office for one year, and if things don't improve, then Nigerians reserve the right to decide what they want to do with us."
