Louis van Gaal led Netherlands national team were in action yesterday in their round of 16 ties of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar against United States of America at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.

The Ons Oranje in the game were very spectacular as they put up an incredible style of play that made them the dominant side thereby outshined and outplayed their opponent with a stunning three goals to one, to book a spot in the quarter finals of the competition to be played against Argentina.

Former Manchester United star and Ajax Amsterdam defender, Daley Blind was incredibly remarkable for the Ons Oranje in the thrilling encounter where he scored a goal which was instrumental in the crucial win.

First half goals from Memphis Depay and Daley Blind gave the Netherlands team a double lead going into the half time break before Haji Wright got the deficit reduced for the United States of America to make it two goals to one.

In the late minute to the end of the game, Denzel Dumfries sealed the remarkable win for the European giant to end the game three goals to one at full time.

One side attraction in the game was the goal celebration of Daley Blind who went straight to celebrate with his father, Danny Blind who was also a former player (defender) for Sparta Rotterdam, Ajax Amsterdam and the Netherlands national team which got the attention of the World football governing body popularly known as FIFA.

FIFA reacted with a post via their verified Twitter handle with the caption depicting what the moment between the father and son was during the course of the goal celebration.

He will then be hoping to replicate the same tempo for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
