Arsenal's Manager Mikel Arteta has expressed concerns about the availability of key players Bukayo Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu for the upcoming clash against Manchester United this Sunday, according to Evening Standard.

Saka sustained a leg injury during Arsenal's recent victory against Bournemouth, resulting in a noticeable gash.

Despite training with a bandaged leg this week, his participation remains uncertain.

Adding to the team's worries, Tomiyasu missed a training session at London Colney, opting for indoor work instead.

Addressing the media on Friday, Arteta said, "A few doubts that tomorrow we can resolve with another training session. So we’ll have to see," hinting at the uncertainty surrounding Saka and Tomiyasu's status.

When specifically asked about the duo, Arteta confirmed, "A few doubts over the names that you discussed, yes."

Arsenal, currently leading the Premier League table by one point over Manchester City, are eyeing a consecutive win to bolster their title aspirations

Getting victory in their remaining two league games is important for maintaining their title hopes.

The Gunners have been enjoying a successful run, with Arteta fielding the same starting XI for the past three matches.

In potential positive news for Arsenal, defender Jurrien Timber might return to the squad after recovering from knee surgery.

However, his involvement against Bournemouth was ruled out despite resuming full training.
