Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers is in high demand as clubs from France, Spain, Greece, and Saudi Arabia are vying for his signature, according to Soccernet. His current club, Rangers, has set a transfer fee of ₦8.6 billion (£4.5 million), a testament to his value and potential.

Dessers' mixed debut season with Rangers saw him score 22 goals, a feat that has attracted interest from top clubs across Europe and the Middle East. Despite facing criticism for some of his performances, his goal tally has made his signing a success, outshining his counterpart Sam Lammers who struggled and was loaned out to the Eredivisie.

With multiple clubs interested, Rangers are inclined to cash in on Dessers' value, although keeping him as a second or third-choice striker is also an option. Dessers' journeyman career has seen him play for eight clubs in ten years, including stints in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Scotland. His 16 goals in the Scottish Premiership last season are the highest he has managed in a top division.

Football analyst Dan Bardell has urged Rangers to reconsider selling Dessers, citing his potential to build on his first-season exploits next campaign. Bardell believes that Rangers could struggle without the Super Eagles striker, who has proven his worth in the Scottish Premiership.
