According to the report from the Vanguard, Prince Richard Ozobu, has criticized the governors of the Southeast zone, stating that their governance is flawed due to a lack of proper consultations with experienced statesmen and public servants. He believes that most of the governors are inexperienced and still learning on the job, which highlights the necessity for teamwork and the exchange of ideas.

Ozobu emphasized the importance of reaching out to statesmen and experienced individuals in administration. He highlighted that governance is a distinct field and cannot be effectively executed without the guidance of experienced professionals. Many statesmen possess valuable knowledge and expertise acquired long before the governors assumed office, but the governors seldom seek their counsel.

The governors' failure to consult with experienced individuals has resulted in a lack of dynamic leadership in the Southeast zone. Ozobu stressed that the governors should prioritize the best interests of the region. He criticized the governors for frequently missing meetings where crucial matters affecting the well-being of the people are discussed and decisions are made.

Ozobu believes that the governors' actions stem from their fundamental inexperience on the job. While learning on the job is possible, certain areas and values cannot be acquired solely through experience. Matters such as history are of utmost importance, and the governors must ask questions to understand the region's past and make informed decisions for the present and future.

The young age at which some governors assume power does not negate the need to seek guidance and information. Ozobu highlighted that young presidents in Western nations often have experienced advisers and statesmen to assist them with matters of state policies and history. While charisma and dynamism are valuable traits, experience cannot be purchased and is indispensable in policy implementation.

Ozobu concluded by stating that the Southeast governors have failed to agree and deliver on any joint programs, projects, or policies for the people of Ndigbo. He criticized their reliance on empty rhetoric and lack of tangible progress. He cited the formation of the Ebubeagu security outfit as an example, expressing doubt about its commitment and effectiveness.
