Last night, Portugal locked horns with France in the Quarter Finals of the 2024 Euros and it was a tough encounter as the game ended in a goaless draw.
Both teams created loads of chances throughout the entire 90 minutes but no side was able to break the dreadlock. After the full 90 minutes was played, they headed straight to extra time but no side was still able to find the back of the net, so they were forced to play the penalty shootout to determine who makes it to the next round of the competition.
France won the penalty shootout 5-3 and that was all they needed to book their place in the Semi Finals of the 2024 Euros. The results of the game left many Cristiano Ronaldo's fan heartbroken as it was his last Euros for his country.
