Son to former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, Bashir El-Rufai has taken to social media to talk about former Kaduna state lawmaker, Shehu Sani following his interview with CHANNELS TV as regards the Northern region of Nigeria few minutes ago.
Recall that former Kaduna state governorship candidate, Shehu Sani had few minutes ago, spoken about the spate of insecurity and terrorism in the Northern part of Nigeria, as he revealed that such situation is the product of failure of governance and leadership that has lasted for over 3 to 4 decades.
However, Shehu Sani when asked if the North is happy with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, revealed that although they are not happy but the policies of the president cannot start to yield results in one year, adding that economic reforms take time before they start working effectively.
Such interview granted by Shehu Sani did not however, sit well with Bashir El-Rufai as he took to his official X account to state that Shehu Sani is denigrating the North, adding that he is even going as far as juxtaposing the inferiority of the Northern region relative to the Southern region.
Bashir El-Rufai wrote;
"Their new advocate for Northern votes (@ShehuSani) in the coming years is currently on Channels TV right now denigrating the North, his own supposed beloved region. Even going as far as juxtaposing the inferiority of the Northern region relative to the South.
"Let's continue."
