Man Utd initiate contact over deal for De Ligt

Manchester United have reportedly initiated discussions with Matthijs de Ligt’s camp, as they are still to hold talks with Bayern Munich. According to Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United have been in contact with the representatives of Matthijs de Ligt over a potential move to Old Trafford. The 24-year-old defender is keen to leave Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, although the two clubs have yet to start a dialogue over a transfer.

Huge bid for wonderkid knocked back

Leeds have dismissed a £40m opening gambit from Brentford for starlet Archie Gray, according to the Yorkshire Post . It comes after Leicester agreed to sell Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to the Blues for £30million. The two agreements are said to be separate with Golding one of Chelsea's highest-rated youngsters.
