The Secretary of the Board of Trustees BoT, of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Alhaji Buba Galadima, has claimed that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate during the 2019 Presidential Election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, won the election, noting that he is ready to swear with Quran, to back up his claim.
Speaking further, Mr. Galadima noted that he left the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2019 and joined the PDP, and Atiku Abubakar, because APC deviated from their initial agreement.
According to The Sun, Buba Galadima made this disclosure when he was being interviewed by journalist.
He said: "When we left CPC to form APC, it wasn’t because I jumped ship, it was because we thought that the best way to get PDP out of power was to congregate and we did that successfully.
"And when the going was going and APC wanted to deviate, we said no and we left to have an alliance with the PDP and support the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. And I want to tell you that I can swear by the Quran that Atiku won the 2019 presidential election."
Speaking about the formation of CPC, Mr Galadima disclosed that he was among the people who formed the CPC, noting that he was the person that wrote the CPC's constitution and manifesto, because the ANPP was not working to produce the country's president then.
He went on and made it clear that former President Muhammadu Buhari didn't form the CPC, noting that they formed the CPC and for six months, they were trying to convince him (Buhari) to leave the ANPP and join the CPC, but he refused to join, until they got a statesman, that later convinced him to join CPC.
