On 14th July, 2024 the Chairman of the South East Governors Forum and also the current Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma while speaking during the APC South East zonal meeting in Abakaliki, revealed that if the tested policies of the administration of the President of Nigeria, Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu were well implemented, the good citizens of the country would receive the much-needed succor and the current economic hardship and scarcity of food would be a thing of the past.
According to TheCable, the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma said "The APC is making efforts to impact the lives of citizens. People have to know that there is global economic meltdown with some currencies exchanging 15,000 and 20,000 to one dollar. I, however, have hope that if the tested policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration are well implemented, Nigerians would receive the much-needed succor."
On the other hand, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honorable Benjamin Kalu said that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu had given the good people of Igbo more than the vote they cast for him in the just concluded Presidential Election. He also added that it was presently left for them to repay him for his good works towards them.
