As per The Punch Newspaper, as the race for the 2025 Anambra governorship election gains momentum, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has called on the people of the state to support the party, assuring them of quality leadership if APC emerges victorious. While addressing stakeholders, Ganduje expressed confidence in the party’s ability to win, emphasizing that APC has become a well-organized political force prepared to deliver good governance. He urged party members and aspirants to stay united and focused on securing victory for the party.
Speaking on the strength of the APC, Ganduje highlighted efforts made since he took over as chairman to solidify the party’s structures in Anambra. According to him, the party is not just a collection of different interests but a cohesive platform with a clear vision for development. He stressed that APC’s growing presence in the state is an indication that the people are ready for change.
He also reassured Nigerians of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to tackling national challenges with a results-driven approach. Describing Tinubu as a visionary leader, he stated, “Our President is the most articulate and committed leader in Nigeria today. He believes in this country. He is a visionary leader who speaks with facts and figures, not just words.” Ganduje further pointed out the administration’s achievements, stating, “Bola Tinubu is taking Nigeria to the next level. Security is improving, our refineries are operational, the economy is growing, and industries are expanding.”
Addressing the people of Anambra directly, Ganduje emphasized that an APC-led government would bring progress, improved security, and economic opportunities to the state. He called on residents to align with the ruling party, assuring them that APC is ready to deliver. He concluded by reaffirming the party’s commitment to securing victory in the state, declaring, “Anambra State, we are here for you. We will work for you, and we seek your cooperation to capture this state.”
