According to him, vendors often ignore designated spaces for fire hydrants, building shops over those areas. This obstructs access for firefighters during emergencies, making it tough to tackle fires efficiently.
Abdulganiu's comments shed light on the crucial issue of insufficient fire safety practices in commercial areas such as the Karu market. The inadequate infrastructure and lack of consideration for designated fire safety installations worsen the potential dangers posed by fires.

Where the market people will allocate a place there is purposely for fire hydrants and they will build shops on it even if the fireman get to that place there will be no access for them to fight the fire."
