Rhodes-Vivour reacts to an old video of Obi saying that he saved a man that wanted to die in a flood

Former Lagos State Governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has taken to social media to praise former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi following an old video showing the moment the former governor recounted how he rescued a man that wanted to end his life in a flooding incident, which was shared online.

In the video which was uploaded on the official X account of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, Peter Obi could be seen responding to some questions that were asked by Nigerians with regards to his presidential ambition in 2023, as he revealed that he saved a man that wanted to die in a flood while he was still the governor of Anambra state in 2012.

According to Peter Obi, the man lost all his goods because of such flood and decided to remain in his warehouse waiting for the food to kill him, adding that he went to meet the man in his warehouse and gave him hope again.

The Labour Party chieftain then disclosed that the state government compensated such man and he is doing well today.

And so Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour in reaction to such video, went ahead to state that Peter Obi is a man of empathy, adding that his opponents should keep spreading their propaganda, but the truth will always catch up.
