In a candid interview on News Central TV, the Labour Party spokesperson in Lagos State, Ife Salako expressed doubt about Wike's respect for others, particularly women, suggesting that Wike is unlikely to demonstrate respect in his interactions.
He further emphasized that anticipating an apology from Wike would be futile and likened it to waiting for an impossible event, such as observing cramps blinking, implying that such expectations are unrealistic and unproductive.
Ife Salako said this while reacting to the questions asked about what will happen if the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike later begged the Senator of the FCT, Ireti Kingibe.
He said, "Wike is not that kind of man that respects. I don't even think he respects any woman for that matter. If you are here expecting any firm of apology from Wike, we are going to be at the shore of the brink, expecting to see the cramps to blink. It's not going to happen."
