The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has made public its draft timetable indicating how activities have been scheduled that will lead to the conduct of congresses.
These will be conducted, wherein election will be done to see to the emergence of new party executives in states where there are currently caretaker committees handling the affairs of the party.
In the draft time, June 21st, 2024 is set as the last day for the PDP in Rivers State and 23 other states to submit the forms of all executive aspirants to the headquarters.
While ward Congresses will hold on June 29th, local government Congresses will hold on July 6th and state Congresses will be on July 13th 2024.
The main opposition party, PDP is now on the track to put its house in order and in a solid structure ahead of 2027 elections.
