According to Metro, Stuttgart chairman Alexander Wehrle has downplayed speculation surrounding Serhou Guirassy's potential departure from the club in the summer, asserting that the prolific striker "feels really comfortable" at Stuttgart.

Guirassy, 28, has been in sensational form in the Bundesliga, playing a pivotal role in Stuttgart's achievement of Champions League qualification for the next season.

With an impressive tally of 25 goals in 26 games, Guirassy ranks among the top scorers in the league, with only Harry Kane surpassing his goal tally this term.

Despite rumors linking Guirassy with a move away from the MHPArena, including interest from clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United, Wehrle remains optimistic about persuading the striker to stay.

With two years left on his current contract, Stuttgart is confident in their ability to retain their star player for another season.

Wehrle emphasized Guirassy's contentment at Stuttgart, highlighting his newfound leadership role within the team under coach Sebastian Hoeness.

Additionally, the prospect of playing in the Champions League adds further incentive for Guirassy to stay with the club.

While several European giants, including AC Milan, Roma, Atletico Madrid, and Newcastle, are reportedly interested in Guirassy, Stuttgart is prepared for a potential bidding war at the end of the season.

Guirassy's contract includes a €17.5 million (£15m) release clause, making him an attractive target for suitors.

Reports have indicated Guirassy's interest in a move to Old Trafford following an approach from Manchester United during the winter transfer window.

However, Hoeness remains hopeful that Guirassy will continue to thrive at Stuttgart, acknowledging the uncertainty inherent in football transfers but expressing his desire for Guirassy to remain with the team.
