The Deeper Christian Life Ministry is set to partner with the United States government and its pastors to advance global evangelism efforts.

Founder and General Superintendent of the DCLM, Pastor William Kumuyi, made this announcement on his official X account, @pastorwf_kumuyi, on Monday.

Kumuyi shared the news following a meeting with U.S. Congressman Robert Pittenger and Pastor Lucas Miles of Turning Point USA.

The meeting took place ahead of the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States.

Osimhen Tops Arsenal’s January Wishlist

Arsenal have joined Premier League rivals and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, with the Gunners exploring a January move for the Galatasaray loanee, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

According to transfer expert Pete O’Rourke, Arsenal are exploring a move for the Nigeria international “as they look to bolster their attacking options before the close of the transfer window.”

The 26-year-old striker, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in September 2024 after proposed moves to Chelsea and Saudi Arabia collapsed, has been in scintillating form, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 18 appearances across all competitions this season.

Police Disagree As Report Alleges High Crime Rate In Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command in Lagos State has debunked a publication alleging high crime rates in the state.

The command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, refuted the report in a statement on Monday.

He said the publication in a national daily on Monday with the headline “Concerns as Lagos State grapples with high crime rate despite Closed Circuit Television cameras” was false.

Hundeyin claimed that apart from the story being stale, “more importantly, empirical statistics have shown that the thrust of the story is baseless and unfounded.”

Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States on Monday, during a historic ceremony held inside the Capitol Rotunda due to adverse weather conditions.

In his inaugural address, Trump outlined a bold agenda for his administration, touching on issues of gender, race, border control, economic reforms, and energy policies.

Trump asserted that his administration would recognise only two genders—male and female—effectively dismissing identities such as transgender, non-binary, and genderqueer.
