Reactions have trailed the internet as Moises Caicedo noted that the reason why he struggled when he newly joined Chelsea was because of Pochettino's style, which was different to the style he had at Brighton.
The Ecuadorian joined the West London club from Brighton for a record fee and was faced with the task of showcasing that he was worth the fee. Caicedo after struggling for some games, later came good for Chelsea and became an integral part of the squad. Chelsea finished sixth in the Premier League and finished as runners-up in the Carabao Cup. They also reached the semi-final of the FA Cup. But next season will be an eventful one for the Blues as they will be playing in the Europa Conference league.
However, as gathered from Vince™ on X, Caicedo in his latest interview explained why Pochettino's style was the reason he struggled when he newly joined Chelsea when he said:
"Yes, with Pochettino he was strong, when I arrived at Chelsea it was difficult for me. At Brighton, it was all tactical, only with the ball; "tactical, tactical, tactical" and at Chelsea it was run, run and it was difficult for me. With Chelsea, I always ran a little more and with Brighton we almost always had the ball, with Chelsea it was a different kind of football and we had to run more."
